Reeve the Baker make some amazing mince pies. These ones are topped with an unfeasibly buttery Viennese whirl, and a generous sprinkling of icing sugar. They are the best ever!
He’s right, they are quite amazing mince pies. The power of butter should never be underestimated. There’s one hell of a lot of it in the whirl on top, I’m surprised they are actually solid. TITS!
I hope my mother doesn’t read this far as I have to admit that they are better than her mince pies. I don’t think she’ll thump me for saying that, but she might be a tad disappointed that someone doesn’t think her mince pies are the best in the world. It’s not just the pastry and whirl, the mincemeat inside is bloody top bunny. A hit at Elitistreview Towers for sure.
