Warming winter beer

I am just enjoying a bottle of [link2post id=”1547″]Fuller’s 1845[/link2post]. On a cold and windy winter’s day this is the ideal beer to drink. It might be a bit soupy, but it is very rich and warming. Poured straight from the fridge (much too cold, I realise) it is even moderately refreshing and what would an afternoon be without refreshment? This is one of my favourite bottle-conditioned beers. A couple of these could even begin to ease the pain of England’s woeful performance in the cricket this winter.
