The best thing I had at the [link2post id=”714″]shamefully inadequate Hix Oyster and Chop House[/link2post] was this drink.
Weston’s Perry, 7.4%
A lovely, lively nose of delightfully fresh pears. The fruit is very sweet and ripe and there is a lot of it. The palate is really very fruity too, burstingly vivacious. Not too fizzy, but perfectly refreshing. More medium/dry than dry, but I can live with that happily enough. This is quite delicious and would actively repel [link2post id=”741″]real cider twats I am sure; I love it.
